Membership in the Czech Society of Rheumatology (ČRS) and membership application

A regular member of the Czech Society of Rheumatology (ČRS) can be a physician, pharmacist, or another healthcare professional and related field specialist, as well as a university student preparing for one of these professions, provided they agree with the mission and objectives of the Czech Medical Association of J. E. Purkyně (ČLS JEP) and commit to contributing to their fulfillment.

Regular membership in ČRS is granted upon:

• Approval of the written application by the committee of the professional society (OS).
• Payment of the basic membership fee as well as an additional membership fee designated for the respective organizational unit (ČLS JEP).

Termination of Regular Membership in ČRS

Membership is terminated in the following cases:

• Death of the member.
• Voluntary resignation based on a written declaration, effective on the date the declaration is received.
• Dissolution of the organizational unit in which the regular member operates (unless they are also registered in another unit).
• Cancellation of membership, especially due to failure to fulfill membership obligations, including non-payment of the membership fee for two consecutive years (membership cancellation is carried out by the professional society following notification from the ČLS JEP membership records).
